Woman with a Whip | Bruno Schulz | 19th Century
Shipping price will be calculated at checkout.
In "Woman with a Whip", Schulz presents a strange and unsettling domestic scene in which a woman sits calmly above a grotesque, submissive figure crawling beneath the chair. The stark contrasts and rough lines heighten the disturbing atmosphere, transforming an ordinary interior into a dreamlike vision of domination and humiliation. Characteristic of Schulz’s deeply psychological imagery, the work explores themes of power, obsession, and the darker impulses hidden beneath everyday life.
